Twenty (20) Newly Approved Private Universities in the Year 2024
20 newly approved universities. On Wednesday, February 3 2024 the Federal Executive Council approved the establishment and the licensing of twenty new Private Universities through the National University Commission (NUC).
With this approval, the total number of Private Universities in Nigeria are now Ninety-Nine [99] While the total number of Universities in Nigeria has increased to One Hundred and Eighty [180.] as at January 2024
