The Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board SSEB has made available 20 vacant positions for interested persons who have passions for teaching to fill the available spaces.

All interested applicants should first of all know the objective of the Board. This will help prepare all workforce to work with the vision of the board.

The objective of the SSEB

The board is to Provide an increasing number of secondary school pupils with an opportunity for education of a higher quality irrespective of sex, social status, religious and ethnic background.
Also to Diversify its curriculum to cater for the differences in talents, opportunities, and roles possessed by or open to students after their secondary school.
To Equip students to live effectively in the modern age of science and technology.
Develop and project the Akwa Ibom and Nigerian culture, arts, and languages as well as the world’s cultural heritage.
To Raise a generation of people who can think for themselves, respect the views and feelings of others, maintain the dignity of labour and appreciate those values specified under our broad national aim and live as good citizens.
To Foster Nigerian unity with an emphasis on the common ties that unite us in our diversity.
To Inspire students with a desire for achievement and self-improvement both at school and later in life.
