ABIAPOLY-ABA ADMISSION EXERCISE–Are you a candidate for the AbiaPoly? And you are eager to know the official cut off mark for the 2024/2025 academic session?. I am going to tell you the Cut Off mark released by The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board-JAMB for all Universities, Polytechnic Colleges, and Monotechnic Nigeria.

The Management of Abia State Polytechnic, Aba is yet to announce the Cut Off mark for the institution but The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board-JAMB has released the cut off mark for all institutions starting from the Universities, Polytechnic, and colleges

NOTE: JAMB cut off marks are used to determine who gets admitted into the institution by the management.

There are some things to be observed before being admitted to study in any of the courses in any tertiary institution in Nigeria. One of these which include meeting the required cut-off points for each school as well as the courses itself and also having the SSCE. With this, It is very easy to obtain admission in the institution if one has met the prescribed cut off mark.

With this, Candidates are always advised to prepare well the UTME Examination in order to meet with the required cut off mark that will be prescribed by the institution

The Abia State Polytechnic is known to always hold her screening exercises within the period of weeks and it actually comes in two phases. Candidates who choose the institution as their first choice are to proceed with the Pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.

All applicants are advised to arrive there early in order to locate his/her screening venue. The Applicants will be screened based on their UTME score and their Senior School Certificate Result respectively.

The second phase will be done after the admission list has been released for candidates. However, candidates who have merited the admission will be invited by the school management for another screening exercise. All students will be asked to present their documents

ITEMS NEEDED FROM THE APPLICANT FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE

Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
Certificate of Local Government of origin
Original copies of their educational qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
N/B: Cases of awaiting results will NOT be accepted.
Recommended letter of good conduct from your Village Head or a responsible person in your community or a civil servant not below Grade Level 10 and your Pastor
Notification of admission status slip.

Abia State Polytechnic Departmental Cut Off Marks for 2024/2025

The Departmental Cut Off mark for Abia State Polytechnic has not been released yet for the candidates who applied for the institution, however, all applicants are therefore advised to prepare themselves for the Post UTME while waiting for the cut off mark.

MEANWHILE: SEE WHAT THE JOINT ADMISSION AND MATRICULATION SAID.

The Management of JAMB has announced the official Cut off Mark for all institutions in Nigeria.
The body made this known to the general public during their briefing, However, the minimum Mark to gain admission into any institution was set at 120 for the 2024/2025 academic session, this was strictly specified for only Polytechnics.

The good news is that the overall Cut off Mark which was announced by the body was set at 160 for all Universities in the country.

With reference to this, Candidates who did not upload their results on JAMB Portal are however advised to do so in order for them to be admitted when the exercise commences.

More so, The Abia State Polytechnic does not have a specific Benchmark for their courses. meaning candidates who have scored up to 120 and above are therefore eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice of courses.
