Abia State University-ABSU Screening Date is Out.
ABSU Screening Date for First Round Post-UTME registration form will be out for all applicants who selected the university as their first or 2nd choice, those who did not choose ABSU at all but wish to change to ABSU through the JAMB portal and who scored 160 and above in the 2024 JAMB Examination are advised to do that immediately.
Registration for the ABSU 1st Round Aptitude Test will be available soon.
MODE OF APPLICATION
- Qualified candidates are expected to Log on to the ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and generate an invoice.
- Thereafter, Proceed to any branch of our designated Banks listed below and pay the sum of N2,000.00 only.
- Fidelity Bank Plc; Union Bank Plc; UBA Plc.
- ABSU Microfinance Bank; Sky Bank Plc;
- Zenith Bank Plc; First Bank Plc; Ecobank Plc,
After payment, visit the ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) click on the applicant fill in the Form, and print it out as evidence of application for Supplementary Admission
Make sure you upload a clear passport photograph in the space provided.

Steps On How to Apply for ABSU Post UTME / Admission Screening
Step 1.     All eligible candidates should Log on to the ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and generate an invoice for themselves.
Step 2.     Proceed to any branch of our specified Banks listed below and pay N2,000.00 (Two thousand Naira) only.

Things To Do After Payment
- Step 1. Get back to the Abia State University-ABSU portal (abiastateuniversity.edu.ng) and click on Applicant.
- Step 2. Select ABSU Aptitude Test
Make sure you upload a clear passport photograph to avoid rejection of the candidate and endeavor to download a copy as proof after confirmation of the application form.

The inception of the institution was in 1981 in the former Imo State under the name of Imo State University, Uturu, Okigwe. The institution was established by former Governor, Sam Mbakwe of old Imo State.
With reference to the creation of Abia State in the year 1991, the Uturu campus of the institution was ceded to Abia State, currently, it is known as Abia State University Uturu, Isuikwuato Local Government Area, Abia State, Nigeria.
