EPL: Arsenal's title challenge gets a big boost from Mikel Arteta.

Mikel Arteta believes that Arsenal’s title challenge will benefit greatly from Gabriel Jesus’ return.

The Gunners regained their five-point lead over Manchester City in the league table by defeating Fulham away at Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, and Gabriel Magalhaes, both from Brazil, scored, and Leandro Trossard, a former Brighton player, had a hat trick of assists.

Mikel Arteta substituted Gabriel Jesus for the Gunners, who were ahead 3-0 with 15 minutes left in regulation, making his first appearance for the club in about four months.

Since December 2022’s World Cup, the Brazil international has been sidelined due to injury.

Arteta, on the other hand, was overjoyed to see him back in good shape.

The Spaniard told reporters that the Brazilian’s return was a “big boost.” Today was his first step, and we weren’t sure if it was the right game for him. He said to me a few days ago, “I’m still missing something.”

“When I looked him in the eyes yesterday, he said, “I’m ready.” So I said “Okay.” As a result, we were given the chance to bring him in, which is the first step in giving him a boost.
