Job is to assist in forensic investigations on security incidents within the bank’s network
Duties & Responsibilities
- An applicant is responsible to Conduct computer forensic examinations to include the collection, preservation, processing, and analysis of digital evidence
- An applicant is responsible to Maintain, organize, and document the storage of critical equipment and evidence in forensic investigations
- An applicant is responsible to Assist in data breach and information security incident investigations
- An applicant is responsible to Assist in forensic artifact handling and analysis
- An applicant is responsible to assist in evidence collection, preservation, and transportation after a security event
- The applicant is responsible to Recover information from computers under investigation
- The applicant is responsible to Identify systems compromised by cyber attacks
- The applicant is responsible to Assist to compile digital evidence to aid legal cases
- The applicant is responsible for Document all technical findings from forensic investigations
- The applicant is responsible to Coordinate with system administrators to obtain necessary log files and other system evidence as required
- The applicant is responsible to Build proficiency in forensic, response and reverse engineering skills
- An applicant is responsible to comply with the principles and policies in the information security handbook
Job Requirements
Education:
Minimum Education for Forensic Analyst: First Degree in computer science/Engineering, Higher Degrees/Professional Certificates.
- Experience:
Working knowledge of PCI DSS
Working knowledge of ISO 27001 - Forensics experience
Chain of custody process
Good understanding of Best Practices Security Architecture
Knowledge of the Banking industry and banking Operations
Knowledge of the Banking applications, services/products
