Brief Description:

Every year, Rotational chooses up to 90 harmony and improvement pioneers from around the world to get completely subsidized scholarly co-operations to seek after an Expert Improvement Testament Program or Bosses Degree Program connected with harmony and compromise and counteraction at one of the taking an interest harmony revolves all over the planet (USA, Japan, UK, Australia, Sweden, Uganda).

The Universities of Duke and North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the United States: The Master of International Development Policy Program (MIDP) or other University of North Carolina degrees are options.

  •  The Japan-based International Christian University: Masters in Peace Studies
  •  Bradford University, England: MA in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution Advanced Practice
  •  Australia’s University of Queensland: MPACS: Master of Peace and Conflict Studies
  • Sweden’s Uppsala University: Studies of Peace and Conflict (MSSc.).
  •  Uganda’s Makerere University’s certificate program: Diploma after graduation in studies of peace and development.

Important Remark: With the exception of candidates from Uganda, who may attend the center at Makerere University, fellowship recipients are not permitted to attend a Rotary Peace Center in their home country.

  • Master’s degree or professional development certificate program in peace and conflict resolution and prevention

Group of people:

  • Leaders in global development and peace who have an undergraduate degree and meet the eligibility requirements.

No. of Financial Aid:

  • Each year, up to 40 master’s degree fellowships and up to 50 certificate fellowships are awarded.

Benefits and inclusions of scholarship:

  • All internship and field study costs are covered by the fellowships, as are the costs of room and board, transportation, and tuition and fees.

Eligibility:

Professionals who have worked in peace and conflict prevention and resolution or international development are ideal candidates for the Rotary Peace Fellowship. Additionally, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

• For the master’s program, you must have three years of related work experience.

• Be able to demonstrate how their plan to promote peace aligns with Rotary’s mission and have five years of related work experience for the certificate program (Candidates for Makerere University must either be from Africa, have worked in Africa, or have worked with African communities or initiatives outside of Africa).

• Be fluent in English (Master’s candidates whose native language is not English must submit test scores in English.)

• Possess a bachelor’s degree; Master’s candidates are required to submit a copy of their transcripts.

• Show leadership qualities.

• Work with African communities or initiatives outside of Africa or have a strong commitment to cross-cultural understanding and peace.

Instructions for applying:

The 15th of May in the year 2024 is the application deadline for each candidate’s Rotary district.
