MDCN Grants Lagos State University College of Medicine Full accreditation for Another Five Years

The Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria has granted full accreditation to the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM) (MDCN).

The accreditation status was contained in a letter signed by the Registrar of the Body, Dr. T.A.B Sanusi dated 5th April 2022, part of which reads: “I have the pleasure to convey Council’s approval for your University to be re-accredited for the next five (5) years with effect from January 2022.”

Remember that the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria’s accreditation visitation team was on the LASUCOM Campus in Ikeja on the 26th and 27th of January 2022 to conduct an assessment of the College’s programs.

Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, the Vice-Chancellor, expressed her satisfaction with the accreditation, saying that it justified the College’s efforts to become the best in the country.
