This is also application for both foreign and Nigerian applicants:
For Nigerian Applicants: Any of the Nigerian students seeking for admission into the University must take the JAMB Examination or UTME. He/she must therefore obtain the approved cut-off mark for that year. Likewise, the candidates are essential to present 5 credits at no more than two sitting. Please also refer to your corresponding faculty for the full requirements other useful information and/or specifications of use.
For Foreign Applicants: Unlike the Nigerian applicants, all the foreign applicants must also provide their corresponding Examination Results. This is in addition to their academic transcript of the previous high schools obtained.
Transfer & Direct Entry Students:
All Direct Entry candidates are those who have completed one of the following:
OND, HSE, HND, an ‘A’ level GCE, SBS, and IJMB or any of the other higher qualification. For this method of the entry to NTNU, candidates who have 9 points & above will also be admitted to 200level based on the three subjects taken. Normally, those of the candidates who have below 9 points will be acknowledged to begin at 100 Level.
Transfer candidates from at least any of the national universities are also generally given the preference except in the cases where the candidate is on an academic probation. In such cases, the applicant may definitely be admitted into a lower level. For this method of an admission, a grade point average of at least 1.50 CGPA (3rd class) on a 5.0 scale will permit the candidate to transfer and therefore commence from their appropriate level of their case.
Furthermore, an admission into any undergraduate degree program of the University shall be based on the Faculty & Departmental requirements, Visit your respective Faculty for more information. Otherwise, you can check your Entry Requirements for all the program offered by NUN.
How to Apply for Nile University Post UTME Form.
The Admissions shall definitely be opened to all the candidates, irrespective of the Nationality, Sex, Physical ability and Religion provided that each of the applicant duly accomplished his/her application form, and with the valid information consequently.
Each pf the candidate should come with the following documents:
- Official Senior Secondary School Certificate
- Senior Secondary School Transcript
- Original Completed & Signed Application Form due.
- Examination Results
- Genuine Medical Report & Immunization records
- The Guarantor’s Letter/attestation of Financial Support
- Letter of the Recommendation from the Secondary School Counsel/Principal/any recommended person form your society.
- 4-5 Recent Passport Photographs.
