Chukwuemeka Obioma, an Enyimba forward, has been named the Nigeria Premier Football League Player of the Month for February.
At the Enyimba International Stadium in Aba, Obioma scored four goals in the month, including two against Shooting Stars.
With seven goals, the striker currently leads the NPFL in scoring.
The award went to him ahead of Osarenkhoe Imade, Uche Collins, Joseph Atule, Robert Mizo, and Amas Obasogie.
Monday Odigie, head coach of Bendel Insurance, was awarded Coach of the Month.
This season, the former Golden Eaglets head coach will win the award for the second time.
Last month, Insurance played five matches and won three and lost two.
This season, only the Benin Arsenals have suffered a defeat in the NPFL.
