Jose Peseiro, the Super Eagles’ head coach, has suggested that club Napoli striker Victor Osimhen join if he decides to leave the Serie A league leaders soon.
Peseiro thinks that Osimhen is good enough to play for Premier League’s best clubs and Spanish La Liga champion Real Madrid.
At the conclusion of the season, Osimhen, a 24-year-old Nigerian international, has been the subject of speculation that he will leave Napoli. He has attracted the attention of some of the best teams in Europe, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Manchester United.
Sportitalia quoted Peseiro as saying, “I am sure Victor [Osimhen] will go to play for clubs like Real Madrid, he can reach those levels.”
He went on to say, “He can play for any top club in the world, whether it be in the Premier League or somewhere else.”
“I don’t know if he will win the Ballon d’Or, but here’s something to think about: He will undoubtedly win the award for top scorer numerous times. because he can score incredibly well.
