This is to inform the general public that the Akwa Ibom State School of Nursing Admission Application form 2022 is currently open from 24th January 2022 and will close on the 25th of February 2022. Interested applicants are to follow the steps below to apply.

The AKS School of Nursing is owned and controlled by the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health. The Ministry conduct screening exercise to recruit nursing career students into the ministry. Admission always takes place once every year. For an applicant to apply and be successful, he/she must meet certain criteria/requirements as stated below.
All applicants must possess the following in order to be eligible for the next stage of the screening exercise.
A minimum of WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics in not more than two (2) sittings.
NABTEB Result cannot be combined with any other.
Documents Required to Apply for Akwa Ibom State School of Nursing Form – Basic Nursing Programme 2022
- Three recent colour passport photographs
- Original and two photocopies each of the following;
- Educational Certificates – FSLC, WASSCE, GCE, NECO, or NABTEB
- Birth Certificate or Age Declaration
- Certificate of Local Government of Origin
- Change of name (if applicable)
- Age must not be below 16 years
The cost of registering for the Akwa Ibom State School of Nursing form is given as follows;
Indigenes – 5000
Non-Indigenes – 7000
Processing Fee – 7000
Nursing and Midwifery Committee – 500
Customized file – 500
Indigenes – 13000
Non-indigenes – 15000

The form can be purchased at the Nursing Services Directorate, Ministry of Health Headquarters, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat, Uyo. All forms can be obtained in the hours of 8:30 am – 3:00 pm daily excerpt on public holidays.
