TASUED postgraduate admission form for 2022

TASUED postgraduate admission form: This is to inform all that the postgraduate admission form of TASUED is officially out online. The Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) is the most known Premier and the most preferred University of Education in Nigeria. It is known as the one-stop Ogun State Government-owned University for the programmes in the field of Education that had since the 2011/2012 session been granted a licence by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run the current postgraduate programmes. All valid Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for provisional admission into the following full-time and part-time Postgraduate Programmes of the University for the 2022 Academic Session as told.

TASUED Postgraduate Admission Requirements.

All the candidates seeking provisional admission into any of these programmes must, therefore, possess a minimum of Five (5) credit passes, including in the English Language (in not more than the required two (2) sittings) at the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination. (WAEC//NECO/SSC/GCE O/L) conducted by well-recognized examining bodies such as the West African Examination Council, National Examination Council, National Business and Technical Education Board, University of London, University of Cambridge and so on.

TASUED Postgraduate Requirements

Postgraduate Diploma Programmes 

Candidates that are seeking admission into the Postgraduate Diploma Programme should possess at least a minimum of Third Class in the Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of Lower Credit at the Higher National Diploma (HND). 

First Degree holders irrespective of class of degree who are currently teaching or intend to take teaching as a better profession.

Each HND graduate irrespective of the class or grade who are currently teaching or intends to take teaching as a profession.

Postgraduate Diploma in Education alongside Master in Education Programme (PGDE/M.Ed)

The programme is sorely designed for candidates without a background in Education who may wish to pursue the M.Ed. programme. The two certificates will be issued concurrently at the conclusion of the M.Ed. Programme.

Master’s Programme:

a) A Graduate of Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijagun or other Universities recognized by the University Senate who has highly obtained the approved Bachelor’s Degree with at least Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in the field of his/her study.

b) Candidates with a Third Class Bachelor’s Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in the same subject are eligible.

c) Candidates possessing an HND (Minimum of Lower CREDIT) and a Postgraduate Diploma in the course applied.

Doctor of Philosophy i.e. (PhD)

a) Every candidate must have at least a Master’s degree in his/her area of specialization and study with a minimum CGPA of 4.0 or 60%.

b) Holders of at least M.Phil. Degree in his/her area of specialization.

c) Those who have a CGPA of 3.50 – 3.99 or 55% and above in the Master’s degree programme can also apply.

1. d) Candidates in (c) above will also have to go through a conversion process into a PhD programme to be called out.

The time duration of The TASUED post-graduate programme

a) Postgraduate Diploma (Full-Time) 12 Months

b) Postgraduate Diploma (Part-Time) 24 Months

c) Master’s degree by CourseWork (Full-Time) 18 Months

d) Master’s degree by CourseWork (Part-Time) 36 Months

e) Postgraduate Diploma in Education combined with a Master’s degree (Full-Time) that is 24 Months

 The two (2) programmes will run consecutively and subsequently.

f) Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) likewise the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme 36 Months(3 years)

All the Nigerian applicants for the Postgraduate admissions must possess the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge/ Exemption/Exclusion certificate from the NYSC Directorate assigned.

Steps to Apply for TASUED Postgraduate Registration

1. The candidates should also apply online with the payment of the application fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000). It will be made with Master cards or VISA ATM cards. You are to print the form after registration.
2. The address for the application is my.tasued.edu.ng/admission  and then select the appropriate Post-Graduate programme as usual.
3. You have to complete the application form 
4. Print out the form along with the three referees’ report forms.
5. The printed online application forms should thereby be submitted along with one photostat copy of the following:

 

1. Original WAEC/NECO SSCE /GCE O’ Level Certificate.
2. Bachelor’s Degree/ HND certificate and any other certificates.
3. NYSC Discharge / Exemption/ Exclusion Certificate.
4. Marriage Certificate/Evidence of Change of Name(s) if available.
5. Payment receipts made from the cyber cafe
6. Original Birth Certificate/ Declaration of Age 
7. 2 recent Passport photographs

Deadline:

The Sale of the Application forms ends on the 31st of October 2022.

All the completed application forms are to be addressed and then sent not later than the said 31st October 2022 to:

All the Candidates are also required to ensure that their academic transcripts and also the referees’ reports are therefore forwarded directly to the above address no later than 31st October 2022.

Only the Application forms submitted with the required documents would be processed.
