Marco Asensio, a star player for Real Madrid, is set to join Barcelona during the summer transfer window to replace Raphinha.
As per Football Moves, Asensio has consented to join Barcelona on a free exchange from Genuine Madrid in the mid year.
Real Madrid did not extend Asensio, who had been linked to Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the past.
The winger, who is 27 years old, is nearing the end of his Real Madrid contract.
Since joining Los Blancos in 2015, the Spaniard has played 266 games for the La Liga champions.
Asensio has scored 55 objectives and given 29 helps such a long ways at Genuine Madrid.
This season, he has played 31 games for Carlo Ancelott’s team, assisting on five goals and scoring six.
In Real Madrid’s most recent La Liga win over Espanyol, Asensio scored one goal.
