UNIJOS Post-UTME form: This information is to all the aspirants of the institution that the post UTME form for the 2024/2025 academic session for UNIJOS is out. You can visit any nearby cyber cafe to register as soon as possible.

JAMB ‘O’ LEVEL REQUIREMENT FOR 2024

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has indicated that it would not clear any of the shortlisted candidates who do not have ‘O’ level results. Each of the candidates is advised to visit any JAMB Office or accredited CBT centre nearest to them to upload their ‘O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB).

All of the candidates that do not satisfy the University screening conditions below are to provide details for consideration by other institutions.  You are going to be allowed to supply a maximum of two different ‘O’ level examination results

UNIVERSITY OF JOS SCREENING APPLICATION

The University of Jos Senate has hereby approved that all the qualified candidates that applied for provisional admission into the University in the UTME conducted by JAMB should be screened.

ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION

The UTME candidates must choose the University of Jos as their First Choice. he/she must score not less than the institutional cut-off mark at 180 and the score for various Faculties/Programmes as stated below:

Candidates in changing courses should check subject combinations and programme requirement before doing so.

APPLICATION METHOD 

Each of the candidates is to do the following:

1.     Visit portal.unijos.edu.ng
2.     Click on the  PROGRAMME option.
3.     Click on the UTME/DE SCREENING option.
4.     Enter your JAMB registration number
5.     Click the Get Started option.
6.     The Candidate will be prompted to select and confirm an easy to remember password. Thereafter, a confirmation link will be sent to their email which was entered into it.

He/she should accordingly login into their email and click the confirmation link

The person will be taken to the login page for he/she to continue his/her Screening registration on the portal.

6.     Visit the portal.unijos.edu.ng
7.     Click on the Login option.
8.     Enter your email and password as well.
9.     Click on the Login option again.

The candidate is being taken to their personalised dashboard

10.   Click on the Pay Screening Charge option.
11.   Select your payment option (a card, Bank Branch, Internet Banking) then click on the proceed option.
12.   Enter the details requested and follow the prompt as well.

After successful payment, the user is returned to their dashboard

13.   Enter the five relevant O level subjects and their grades
14.   Click on the Finish option.
15.   Print the Screening Registration Slip as well.
16.   Log out and await further communication from the University.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

The registration portal for the screening is currently ongoing and will close soon.

However, the printing of the acknowledgement slip will commence soon.

DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING EXERCISE FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform all the candidates that applied for the Direct Entry admission into the University of Jos, that there will be an online screening exercise soon.

Please also note that only candidates that applied through JAMB for Direct Entry Admission and chose the University of Jos as their First Choice are eligible for the screening.

 N/B:

A comprehensive list of those who have met the screening requirements will definitely be published and updated from time to time on the University website, check www.unijos.edu.ng.

 Any candidate that fails to do the ON-LINE Screening will not be considered for admission.
